OUR TRAINING PROCESS
"Tell me and I'll forget This Chinese proverb captures the very essence of the innovative Performance Plus... training process and why it is so effective. Our interactive process creates immediate involvement of participants, enabling them to gain understanding of the issues being presented and the ability to apply what they have learned in their daily jobs. Briefly, the centerpiece of the Performance Plus... process is the use of brief dramatizations of "living case studies", tailored specifically to your company and performed by our staff. Following these vignettes, we lead a dialogue between the participants and the players, who remain in their roles. Our programs also expand on these vignettes through the use of a variety of workshop activities. As a result of this educational and thought-provoking interaction, employees identify problems, increase understanding and, explore ways to resolve conflict in a non-threatening and effective manner. HOW IT WORKS FOR YOU We meet with you to get a full understanding of your company, it's business, culture, management style, and other important information. At that time the specific objectives of the program and the issues to be addressed are determined. Working closely with your suggestions, we develop vignettes positioned realistically within your company which illustrate key issues in your business, as well as other workshop activities which could be included in the program. At the program our staff role-plays those situations. When the vignettes are completed, our players remain in character and engage in a dialogue with the audience. With the aid of a Performance Plus... moderator, participants are encouraged to actively explore viable solutions to the situations. We also are available to create and lead customized workshop activities to build on the concepts presented in the vignettes or to address the issues in other formats (e.g., having participants role play with our staff, creating a video for future use, etc).
