PROGRAM OPTIONS
The innovative Performance Plus... process uses
structured improvisational dramatizations, played by our staff, followed by a
discussion between participants and our players, who remain in character
throughout the program. Clients use this flexible process in a variety of
ways.
Training/Communication Modules
The vignettes and discussion are used to present
specific subjects and objectives the client has chosen. Typically, a
module is 1 to 2 hours long and may stand alone or be part of a longer
training program led by the client's staff, another consultant, or
Performance Plus...
Training Seminars/Workshops
The vignettes and discussion are combined with case studies, group
discussion, structured questionnaires, presentations, action planning and
other training tools to present a one half to full day seminar or workshop
designed especially to meet the client's objectives.
Practice Sessions
Workshop participants may also role-play with Performance Plus... players,
providing participants a structured environment in which to practice and
develop their skills. Examples include sales, customer service, telephone
prospecting, coaching/counseling, giving performance feedback, interviewing,
and many others.
Meetings and Conferences
The vignettes and following discussion with the audience are used to
provide an educational and entertaining alternative to the typical speaker,
keynote or otherwise,
or one-way video/slide presentations. Performance Plus... is also
used as a module at conferences.
Videos
Our structured improvisational technique enables us to complete
customized video projects in a more efficient, cost effective manner than
traditional methods. Some ways clients use Performance Plus... videos
are: for training tapes (including workbooks and leader guides), video news releases, and business simulations.
Presentation Skills
Performance Plus...
also is able to work one to one or in groups, to
focus on skills for both the content and the contact of a presentation,
including preparation.
Myers Briggs Seminars
An additional offering is a seminar led by an experienced Myers Briggs trainer (based in
Charlottesville, VA) to identify one's personality temperament and style,
including how that plays out in the workplace.
